Jude - May

This crazy guy keeps us on our toes and had some pretty good moments this month:
- I told Jude that his time was up for something and he responded with, "Can you please just turn the timer off in your head!!!"
- Jude had been hitting a lot one day and I asked him where all this hitting was coming from, he answered by saying, "I learned it from a commercial." (no more tv mister!)
- We were discussing the fact that he was in major need of a hair cut and he said, "My hair is too long, people are going to think I'm a girl."
- He's such a boy! I asked him to stop eating his boogers and he said, "But I like the taste!" YIKES!
- Daddy had been very busy at work one week and Jude had a lot to say about that. "I know why daddy works so much. His work friends say work, work, work. He needs to tell them, no more work!"
- It started raining one day while in the car, and Jude said, "The weatherman said it wasn't going to rain. I guess he didn't listen to his mom and he misunderstood!"

Quinn - May

What a fun month we had with this little thing!! She has become a true two year old with all the good, bad, and ugly! What is it with blowing out those two candles that completely changes a toddler!!! To give her some credit though, we have been dealing with her first ear infection for the last three weeks, so we are trying to give her some grace in her two-year-oldness!! She is talking so so so much lately and really helping us understand what she wants or is feeling. I also love watching her do her "thing" because as she is playing she will narrate everything in her own way.  Its more of a whisper though, like she is talking to herself; its the cutest! She is so proud of herself also for all of the words that she knows. She has been giving the sweetest kisses too and insists on kissing you straight on the lips! Such a love bug!!! Every month she becomes so much more independent and is developing so much personality. Her favorite things to do right now are playing with her babies, rocking in her chair, swinging, reading books, and learning! She loves to sit and learn with her books and is really getting to know her shapes, colors, and letters/numbers. It is so fun seeing her get excited to learn!! We have a lot of fun things coming this summer and can't wait to see her experience them all! Plus potty training and saying bye bye to the paci...she might not be as excited about these as I am!

April - Jude

This boy just keeps growing - taller, wiser, and crazier! Every day with him is a new adventure, but one that we are over the moon thankful for; even on those hard days!! Some funny things we caught him saying last month:
-  Jude needed to clean his hands and had a cup of water in front of him "I'm going to bap-mi-tize (how he says baptize) my hands to wash them."
- One day I asked Jude to please come here, he proceeded to say, "I'm over there, I'm just invisible." He thinks he is soooo funny some days!!
- We were getting ready for Quinn's birthday party and I bought a watermelon, Jude LOVES watermelon and when he saw it said, "YES, watermelon...that means its summer!!!"
- He is very into making "plans" lately.  Like, "Hey mom, I have a great plan, lets go get ice cream or lets go to the park, etc." He is also quick to tell us, "I don't like that plan" when we tell him what we are actually doing and then offers a new and "better" plan! (Yes, I'll take credit for the crazy planning stuff!)

Sneaking in his Easter candy

Splashing in all the puddles they could find after an afternoon shower...Ethan was highly amused!

Taking his teachers some flowers for Easter

Nailing his sins on the cross at the Easter path at church - such a great hands on experience for young and old to help teach the Easter story. I love that He is really beginning to understand the true meaning.

He was handing out flowers to all his friends after school one day (Western day)

He is getting so old.  I was cooking dinner one night and he came over, got his leftover mac & cheese, put it in the microwave, started the time, and then looked up at me like, what I'm making myself something to eat!

Soccer started again!!!
